Blogger tip: Be fast + Currents

Este es un post algo diferente porque no es un tutorial... es más como un "auto recordatorio" o un "auto tip" que tal vez les sirva... Y mi recordatorio es: ser más rápida y espontanea bloggeando (:

Resulta que había pensado en hacer como un post de: "Currents" mostrandoles a mi querida albahaquita como estaba creciendo fuerte y hermosa, pero por pensar que tal vez no les gustaría o no era el momento lo deje pasar...

This post is different from the others because is not a tutorial... is like a "self reminder" and also a blogger tip, and this is to: be faster and more spontaneous!

I was thinking about making a "Currents" Post showing you my lovely basil, who was growing strong and beautiful; but I take so long thinking that perhaps you wouldn't like a post like that.... the time past and...

Hasta que cuando me encontré frento a esto algunas semanas atrás, me hizo darme cuenta que soy demasiadoooo lenta blogeando jajaj tengo muchisimas ideas pero no las publico y al ser muy lenta o pasa esto de acá bajo o otro se le ocurre primero :(

I found myself in front of this delicious spaghettis with Basil sause, when I realized I was too slow blogging lol way to sloooow. As well as this, the blogophere is growing so fast, that if you don't post your idea quickly other will :(

(Por cierto, el pesto quedó riquísimo) Así que este post era para compartirles esta reflexión que tuve mientras comía fideos (? Y para mostrarles los recuerdos que me quedan de mi querida albahaquita...

(By the way that was deliciousss) So in this post I wanted to share with you this reflexion that I have while I was eating pasta lol and also I wanted to show you the few memories that reminds of my dear basil

DIY: Double Color Felt Rose

Hi! Here I bring my third tutorial on Felt Flowers! And this is a rose that I invented trying to make something -fun- using two colors of felt

First I wanted to give you a fast tip on how to cut the felt because is quite complicated to draw in it, so is better to use something to pressed and then you can cut it super easily (: I hope is helpful!

This is what you will need to have cut:

We will work with two semicircle together and wrapped like shown:

Every time you do it sew it in the bag to secure:

Do this will all the semicircle or until you see it enough, and to finish this rose I like to put a pearl in the center to define well the center, it make it look prettier (:

A jar full of Joy! - Confetti Card

Esta idea de tarjeta surgió pensando que sería lindo regalar un "frasquito de alegria" la idea me pareció tan tierna que la quise hacer en una tarjeta! y todo lo tierno se ve todavía más tierno si es chiquito!

I come out with this idea while thinking it would be nice to give away a "jar full of joy" so I decided to translate this idea into a card! and all the cuteness is even more cute when is smaller!

Así que aproveche también para hacerla para el concurso de Moxie Fab World que tenía que ser una tarjeta de no más de 7,5 cm x 7,5 cm, lo chiquito es mi especialidad jaja
So I decided to make it also for Moxie Fab World Challenge! that is to make a card not bigger than 3 x 3 inches, small is my specialty!

Hice el este mini confetti usando el cortante Doily de Martha Stewart, también le puse gibre, coranzositos dorados y un confetti dorado que tenía (:
I made this tiny confetti using Doily Edge Punch by Martha Stewart, I also added some glitter, gold hearts and dots (:

Costo un poquito porque fue la primera y no sabía bien como iba a hacer para poner el confetti y todo, pero despues lo resolví con una bolsita transparente que la corte a medida y la pegue con cinta.
It was little hard because it was the first one and I didn't know how to put the confetti, but I solved using a plastic bag and cut it with the shape, then I sealed with tape.

Una tarjeta un tanto diferente pero divertida! espero les haya gustado (:

Ruffle Felt Flower Tutorial - Tutorial de flor en fieltro

Como les dije en el tutorial anterior... no era el último de esta serie de -flores con fieltro- Así que aca les traigo el segundo tutorial! también es super simple! Y este lo aprendí de pinterest! (no pude encontrar el link directo al blog de la/el creador del tutorial :( )

As I told you in my last tutorial... it won't be the last! from my series -felt flower tutorials- So here I bring the second one! is also super simple! is one of the things I learned from pinterest (unfortunatly I couldn't find the direct link to the blog of the owner...)

Acá esta lo que van a necesitar, primero corte cinco circulos y a cuatro les hice unas onditas con la tijera. Y dos hojitas verdes para decorar

Here is what you will need: 5 circles, to 4 of them I made a scallop border with the scissors; and two tiny green leaves

Después a cada circulito lo doblamos en cuatro
Fold each circle in four and shown here:

Y lo cocemos en el circulito que quedo sin onditas

Sew each one in the circle you have left, and that is!

Super simple, no? recuerden que pueden mandarme ideas de tutoriales ya se una imagen de algo para decorar en la casa hasta un embellishment de una tarjeta que vieron!

Super simple, don't you think? Remember you can ask for a tutorial, you can send me and image of something you see to decorate your house from an embellishment in a card you saw and liked!

Thanks Card - Watercolor Background

Hoy fue uno de los pocos dias del año que lleuve así que me decidí por hacer una tarjeta que hace mucho que no hacía! quería probar hacer algo con acuarelas que están tan de moda!

Con un emboss blanco estampé la palabra thanks, y despues con un pincelito empecé a poner diferentes colores de acuarelas, cuando se secó le cocí con un hilo abajo y escrbí con una lapicera "you're so sweet" y al lado el heladito (:

Simplecita, pero creo que quedo linda!
Espero que les guste y esta semana esten atentos que voy a publicar más tutoriales de florcitas (:

Printable 2013 Goal List

Hi!! I finally I made my 2013 Goal List! I get inspire by Project Life album idea and I wanted to do something of that source (:

I divide my list in 6 parts, according to my interest:

I realase that I didn't wrote in it yet lol I was too excited to see my work printed and ~~I forgot about writing on it :P I will post a photo tomorrow (:~~

So here is my actual list! Sorry for the tiny handwriting... I can't avoid writing that small lol

This is year I'm planning to:

- Don't stop blogging , because I start university... and I know that's really time consuming...

- Do well at university, lol because although I want to keep blogging I also want to study :P

- Finish my family cookbook, yes! I'm making a family cookbook, and let me tell you, is a lot of work!!

- Improve my landscape photography!

- Learn to make good spaghettis!

- Learn to make ice cream...

- Make my pants fit again... I had been eating more than I should... and that had consequences in my pants, my favorite ones :(

- Style my hair different... when I was getting ready for my graduation I saw the photo that was hanging in the wall... and there was me, 7 years ago, same hair style, no way! I have to change that...

- Dress pretty and buy cloth in a smart way! this year I start university that means no uniform :( I like it the uniform... I didn't have to think what to wear every day... I realized that most of my wardrove are jeans and t-shirts...

- Be a guest post and host guest post in my blog! wohoo

- Get published somewhere

- Make a "China Trip" photo book

Rose Felt Flower Tutorial - Tutorial de rosa en fieltro

Hola!! Primer tutorial del año!! wohoo esperemos que sea el primero de muchos más!! Este tutorial lo hago a pedido de Ximena! que me pidió por face manualidades con fieltro!

Hi! this is the first tutorial of the year! wohoo, let's hope it's the first of many! I made this tutorial because Ximena ask for it in my facebook page!

Y la razón por la que lo pospuse tanto tiempo es porque el fieltro que venden acá es bastante feo :S y es difícil trabajarlo... Pero bueno algo se puede hacer, y mi cosa favorita para hacer con fieltro son flores!

Esta es la más sencilla y es la que uso generalmente en mis tarjetas porque es bastante chata.

I will posting many felt flower tutorial this month, but this is the easiest! and is the one I use for my cards because it's really flat

Todas las flores que les voy a enseñar a hacer lo único que necesitan es tijera y fieltro!
Para esta flor tiene que cortar en zig-zag como en la foto, de más grande a más chiquito.
All you will need is felt and scissors! You have to cut a strip and make a zig-zag as shown in the picture

Después enrollan empezando desde lo más chiquito a lo más grande
Then you start rolling beggining from the smallest part to the bigger

Para que no se desarme yo le hice unas puntadas con hilo, pero también lo pueden pegar a medida que enrollan.

To secure, sew the back of the flower.

Y por último le agregué una perlita en el centro, pero esto es opcional!
As a detail I added a little pearl in the center (:

My 2013 summer list!/ Mi lista de verano 2013!

Hoy termine de diseñar mi lista de verano! También hice una general para el 2013 que les voy a postrar despues :D *me encanta hacer listas como veran* jaja

Al final de la lista hice como una barrita para ir pintando cada vez que hago algo, para ver -graficamente- cuanto me falta una pavada pero es divertido ver como va avanzando la barrita :)

He aqui mi lista completa! son varias cosas para solo dos meses... espero llegar jaja Entre algunas cosas de las que tengo es: hacer más tarjetas, más scrapbook, hacer helado (ya les contare de mi nueva maquinita de helado!), tengo muchas ganas de participar en algun concurso... asi que si conocen uno bueno avisenme (: ya se fotografia o scrapbookin...

También quiero limpiar mi correo que tengo como 700 mails sin leer D: desastre... y ahora estoy en el item -rediseñar blog- como veran ya cambie varias cositas y ahi mas por venir!!
