A few days ago I eat for the first time a fortune cookie! and I got curious about how they are made and I come out with two interested things: they were invented in California and they are super easy to made!
Esta es la primera vez que hice galletitas de la fortuna! nada mal no?This is the first time I made fortune cookies! they don't look that bad, do they?
They are so simple that they are super customizable, I added food red coloring and added a custom message inside. I found this idea so cute!
To made this cookies I watched this video, that explain super good how-to make them!
But here are some tips you might found helpful:
- Make 1 at the time! because they cool super fast!
- Touched carefully because they are soft
- They don't last much so if you want to give it to someone, make it only with one day ahead
Aca estan los ingredientes para 20 unidades:
Here are the ingredients for 20 fortune cookies:
2 large egg whites
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
8 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 teaspoons water
